Prominently located on the Pacific Highway, and in proximity to three schools and a state conservation area, AJA has designed a new zone substation to suit this challenging location. All building elements have been selected for their resistance to graffiti. The precast concrete control building features a perforated metal screen, that graphically interprets the vegetation of the surrounding bushland. The folded metal roof plane articulates the building form.
