Avondale Golf Club
AJA were engaged to develop a scheme to improve the 91 year old heritage listed club house, constructing a scheme that is designed for value adding, future proofing & flexibility with a sustainable & analytical approach.

Cowper Street Mixed Use Apartments
In a substantial redesign and addition of 3 floors to a decade old DA in Granville, AJA’s design was approved for 70 units with ground level retail, and includes a Public Arts Plan adding a cultural overlay to this important corner site.

Blackman Park Scout and Amenities Hall, Lane Cove
A multi-functional community and recreational facility takes inspiration from local vegetation and materials, forming an elegant curved shell to serve a variety of uses day and night.

Thurlow Street Studios, Redfern
Originally built as the Foster Clarks Custard Factory and then used as the HQ for Done Design, the heritage listed building was converted into ground floor retail and three levels of studio offices incorporating character elements that maintained the industrial aesthetic.

200 Crown Street, East Sydney
Breathing new life into a former bootmaker’s factory for Ministry of Sound, the adaptive conversion of this 3 level building in a conservation zone retained the character of the built fabric in remodeling for a playful, contemporary fitout with open circulation to link separate functions.

Sydney Harbour Federation Trust campus, Mosman
Transformation of an ex-military hospital and barracks buildings into a unified campus-style complex of studio offices involved preservation and reinstatement of key heritage elements integrated with new insertions to complement this landscaped headland setting overlooking Sydney Harbour.
